- Direct and supervise 10+ staff to complete daily orders for click and collect and delivery within challenging timeframes.
- Manage order fulfillment, delegate tasks, process and prepare customer orders under tight deadlines.
- Complete thorough closing functions to maintain operational standards.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints regarding orders and online operations in the absence of the department manager [in person and via telephone].
- Teach new team members how to shop customer orders, deliver click-and-collect orders and use various equipment.
- File and maintain order receipts ensuring that SOPs for alcohol and tobacco purchases have been followed and eftpos payments have been successful.
- Handle necessary shift changes based on the days' productivity and workload.
- Finalise payments and input payment methods into online system where payment methods failed to go through. Telephone customer to retry payment when failed.
- Finalise payments. Where original payment method fails, either input changes to payment method into online system or contact customer to retry payment based on relevant SOPs.
