  • DUTIES: As a Civil Engineer, I work closely with the regional office staff where I am responsible for providing preliminary and final engineering analysis of proposed EDA construction awards to ensure that potential projects conform to sound engineering principles and comply with EDA's policies and regulations. I also coordinated input from other engineers in preparation of the contract plans and specifications, and assisted co-workers with duties as needed. I worked with the Corps Contracting Officers to set up procurement for all of my assigned construction projects.
  • ACCOMPLISHMENTS: I completed the first Geo-Tube design and installation for a beach renourishment project at Port Canaveral, FL. During my tenure, I designed in excess of $200 million dollars of plans and specifications for various dredging and beach renourishment projects in the state of Florida.
