EXPERIENCE 10/2013 to Current Assistant Engineer Civil Ovintiv Inc. - The Woodlands, TX - Compiling of the Water Supply Assessments (WSA), per Senate Bill (SB) 610 & 221 Preparing the technical document for submission to City Council including Offset Agreements. - Calculating water demands for projects according to project descriptions, SANDAG data and city zoning limits. - Assembled technical descriptions of the water supply source, magnitudes of historical and projected water use, as well as a comparison of water supply to water demands during normal, single-dry, and multiple-dry years using an in-house conservation model. - Research and Investigations of Water usage according to project plans for single/multi-family homes, redevelopments, retirement homes, community plans, commercial, hotels, finesses centers, religious buildings and stadiums to determine a constant factor for City's water demand analysis. - An economic/environmental study on a San Vicente Pump Storage Hydroelectric Plant and a feasibility study on floating PV solar panels located near the San Vicente dam. - - EIR and CEQA reviews to confirm that the information related to water resource and the WSA is accurate for each particular project area. - Researching climate change and GHG emissions in order to monitor and include new section in the UWMP. - NASA Satellite research (focusing on GRACE and SMAP). - Assisted with groundwater management and basin layout. - Assisted with collecting groundwater table rises and depletion, overlooked/inspected meter installs on well's, assisted in installing monitoring devices in wells and assuring that they are working adequately. 08/2011 to 08/2013 Engineering Intern Ovintiv Inc. - Midland, TX - Inspected Pipeline (confined space certified), provided Radio Detection PCM (Pipeline Current Mapper), and Cathodic Protection Current Requirement Testing (CP-CRT) and Soil Resistivity Testing. Exposed to earth work calculations for pipeline installations and Dam raise. - Assisted with annual inspections, performed pipe to soil tests and surveys. - Worked closely with the engineers on applying/ maintaining the Cathodic Protection CP on the pipe-line. - Inspected pipelines, rehabilitated existing pipes, facility vaults, anodes, and test stations. - Performed Ultrasonic Testing on Corroded Pipe Segments to initiate the source of pitting or corrosion. - Executed 48-96 hour monitoring tests and investigation on segments of the pipeline to determine time and location of electric spikes on the pipeline and evaluate the sources creating that spike. 04/2010 to 07/2010 Engineering Intern 2008 to 11/2009
