- Catastrophe Code Automation Process task:

Goal and task were to create a process that would enable the user to fill out an Excel Spreadsheet listing all of the claim numbers and respective catastrophe codes that needed to be either changed or added to the claims records based on the claim number. The user would then be able to take a menu option in the system to then process the Excel spreadsheet which would then process the catastrophe code changes for each claim record based on the claim number.
- Written Premium Report Revamping:
- Task was to revamp the Written Premium Report which was an excel spreadsheet report listing the written premium obtained through each distribution channel either through Homeowners or Dwelling Fire policy types. The original Written Premium Report processed through amounts within a table rather than temporary arrays. The new process was created to be table driven in order to handle the new additions of distribution channels and/or new policy types.
- Exposure Report Revamping Task:
- Was given the task to revamp the way exposure files were being populated as well as the programs which were responsible for generating the inforce premium and exposure reports. The original process populated each distribution channels' exposure records within a respective physical file. The new process called for all distribution channels' exposure to be populated into one physical file and be displayed through multiple logical files which created a more efficient way of viewing the files based on specific means of querying the exposure for a specific distribution channel, policy type, etc. Few programs needed to be modified in order to process multiple distributions at once. The new process was created to be table driven and avoid any hard code for efficiency.
- Migrate of E-signature Process:
- Task to work on a major project that required the team to work on a set of programs as well as test them in order to migrate the Adobe E- signature process to an in house E-signature process. We already had the API's necessary for the E-signature process and had to go about replicating the Adobe API's in a way that it would communicate directly with our system. This project included the creation of files, designating foreign keys in which correlated with other files in the one-to-many/one-to-one relationships, developing a quick understanding of exactly how the API's of the Adobe framework functioned. Pertaining to what type of parameters were accepted in the API calls, the return values, the implementation, etc.
